Club members meet weekly on Monday mornings at 5:15am at the South Salem High School Track for interval workouts hosted by the Run Coordinator. All levels of runners are welcome!
If mornings are not your thing, join a sub-group of members on Tuesday evenings at 5:30pm for the same workout.
Contact the Run Coordinator for details and for help in determined your pace group.
If you don't have a base of at least 25 miles per week, have limited time, or just want to ease into the workouts, you should modify the workouts and eliminate a few of each reps.
There are three pace categories for speed work. Repetition pace is the fastest, then Interval pace, and last is Tempo pace. The recovery periods should be done at an Easy pace.
Weekly Runs
Many club members join the Gallagher's Fitness Resources group on Wednesday evenings at 5:30pm at Riverfront Park in Salem for speed workout sessions. For more information, contact the run coordinator.
